Program Overview
- Program Description:
- Study Intensive Spanish and Chilean Business Culture and participate in our INTERN Chile Program through MIPYME International, the Office of International Affairs of the Federation MIPYME, the top leading business community of Micro, Small and Medium sized business of Valparaiso, Chile.
The Federation MYPIME brings together the most diverse productive sectors of the Region of Valparaíso and its management has sought to permanently lead actions that contribute to regional development through its main actors, the micro and small entrepreneurs. This is reflected in a strongly focused dedication to establish mechanisms for joint working between partners; to encourage the association from which you access both to potential external benefits to the strengthening of the Federation itself; to manage and organize activities to strengthen our partner organizations; to foster links with the regional authority, bringing the vision of our business community in local development policies. MYPIME oversees and interconnects more than 950 micro businesses throughout the fifth region. It is this strong network of business relationships that serves as the backbone of MYPIME International's Intern-Chile program, and is the major distinction between Intern-Chile and other competing volunteer and work abroad programs.

- Setting Description:
- Chile is a country of vast climate extremes. Due to Chile's long slender shape spanning from the desert in the north to Antarctica in the south, you'll experience a very different climate depending on what part of the country you visit. Seasons Chile sits in the southern hemisphere and as such its seasons are generally these: Summer: December - February Fall: March - May Winter: June - August Spring: September - November Southern Climate The southern extreme of Chile is prone to frequent rainfall with winter months being the wettest. This humid and damp region leads to a lush green landscape. Central Valley The central valley enjoys a Mediterranean climate. Summers are warm and dry with little precipitation. Winters are cooler and deliver frequent rain showers. This very moderate climate encourages the fertile agriculture of this region. Norte Grande In the north, closer to the equator, the weather is very warm most of the time, especially in the spring and summer
