Program Overview
- Program Description:
Experience breathtakingly beautiful, biodiverse Colombia, and provide essential services in the homes and communities of coffee plantation workers. Every cup of coffee that you enjoy for the rest of your life will be infused with special memories! This experience will begin with an orientation on the history, demographics, and healthcare system of Colombia. Volunteers will participate in community health surveys, village triage, clinics and seminars. Seminars include tropical medicine, triage, pharmacology, clinic organization, and medical Spanish. All ISL teams collaborate closely with local health professionals to facilitate community health education and outreach. Other activities may include tutoring, attending cultural events, learning about coffee agriculture and other related industries, horseback riding, swimming in natural hot springs, ziplining, hiking and shopping.

- Beautiful coffee landscape Coffee plantations, palm trees, coconuts, magos, bamboo, papaya, citrus, avocado, sugar cane, and Spring-like year-round weather on the ecuador. You'll be serving farm workers, working with professionals, and gaining incredible hands-on experience.
