Program Overview

Program Description:
A week-long summer program designed for students and young professionals. The courses are organised by expert academics and executives in the field and are expected to equip the participants with knowledge on traditional Greek and Mediterranean architecture.

Participants will be introduced in the History of Greek architecture and its structures, visit archeological sites and gain knowledge on the mainland versus island application of traditional architecture. Workshops and thematic study visits will also provide further insight to the students while optional study trips will give them the chance to experience a unique cultural break.

A Mediterranean College Certificate will be awarded to every participant upon the successful completion of the program.
Setting Description:
Athens is one of the world's oldest cities with over 3,500 years of history. A centre for the arts, learning and philosophy, the city offers many landmarks of early Western civilization and has easy access via tram to the closest beaches. The Athenian cultural everyday life includes a plethora of exhibitions, festivals and historic monuments even within the metro stations.
