Program Description:

Since 2006 Magellan Study Abroad has offered the best value in Summer Language programs for high school teens. Our programs are filled with the a balance of language classes, art workshops, excursions and pen-pal activities. We work hand in hand with the Education Office of the Spanish Embassy and create month-long summer immersion programs that promote cultural awareness and provide the perfect international exposure. Students return a more global citizen with an outstanding improvement in their language acquisition.

This complete month long immersion is our most popular summer program of all. A great combination of language classes, historical visits, flamenco lessons, art workshops and exploration awaits you. We are proud to be the only immersion program featuring the hidden gem of Spain: The beautiful Galicia region. You will visit the historical sites you've learned about in class. All while improving your language acquisition. Our alumni are proud to return to school with an advanced understanding of the Spanish language.

Setting Description:

This is the perfect program for the most demanding teen: a great balance of language learning and absolute fun. Student will have the opportunity to practice their language skills with a carefully selected home-stay family in Salamanca. Salamanca is one of the oldest university towns in Europe. This program features unique activities such as, art workshops, cooking classes, pen-pals, and excursions. The next stop is Galicia, where students will spend a week discovering the "hidden-gem" of Spain: scenic panoramas, beautiful beaches, and unparalleled history. Our final days in Madrid will conclude this unforgettable international immersion program which will leave you memories of a lifetime.
