Program Description:

The Teaching and Assisting in Schools program in beautiful Guatemala is tailored for volunteers so they can teach what they know best! For example if you are good at math you can teach math at a rural school. If you are knowledgeable with computers you will teach children computer skills. The possibilities are endless. 

English is also becoming more and more important in Latin America to securing employment. Working as a volunteer teacher means you can help many low income children learn a tool that is vital to their future success. A rewarding job that is sure to bring a smile to you and a lifetime of benefit to them!

Language: Volunteers must have least a Basic understanding of the Spanish language.  Spanish lessons are available in Guatemala and are highly recommended.

Setting Description:

Accommodation on all programs in Guatemala is with one of our friendly local host families, so that volunteers have the opportunity to be truly immersed in the local community. They will also get the chance to meet and socialize with like-minded people from all over the world, as free time can be used to explore this amazing country!

Cost:

LV Registration Fee + Programs Fees from just $450 for two weeks! USD. Included: Accommodation, 2 -3 Meals per day, Airport Pick-up, Orientation on Arrival and 24/7 In-Country Support. Not Included: Flights, Insurance, VISA, Vaccinations, Return Airport Transfer, In-Country Transport, and Spending Money.
