Program Description:

As a Love Volunteers Teacher is Bangladesh, you have the opportunity to help shape the lives of the future generations of these remarkably cheerful and grateful children, and assist them in breaking the cycle of poverty that without your help would be a life-long sentence. 

The main duties of a Volunteer Teacher in Bangladesh will be to assist the local teachers with English lessons. However, your presence and involvement in every aspect of their schooling will be an invaluable contribution to the children involved in this project. From English conversation and writing skills, to sports activities and games, your participation and simply your presence will have a huge and beneficial impact on these children. You will also have the opportunity to impact the children in your own way by bringing your own set of skills/knowledge/interests to teach them.

Language: All volunteers should have a good command of the English language.  Knowledge of the local dialect is beneficial but not a pre-requisite.

Setting Description:

Whilst on this project, volunteers will live directly at the school in shared rooms above the school house (where the program director also lives), so you will get to experience first-hand life in the slums. Being located at the school also means you can become part of the community you are helping, and there is no need for transport to/from your project site. Volunteers can arrange their own Breakfast and Dinner during their stay, whilst lunch is provided free during school hours, as it is for all the students.

Cost:

LV Registration Fee + Programs Fees from just $300 for one week! USD. Included: Accommodation, Lunch Daily Meals, Airport Pick-up, Orientation on Arrival and 24/7 In-Country Support. Not Included: Flights, Insurance, VISA, Vaccinations, Return Airport Transfer, In-Country Transport, and Spending Money.
