Program Description:

Volunteers in Nepal on the Health and Medical Programs work closely with Nepalese doctors and nurses, and must either be medical professionals/medical students or have demonstrable knowledge in the health and medicine field. In order to arrange a suitable placement a recent CV or resume must be supplied.

The activities that volunteers are involved in include raising public awareness of health and hygiene and sanitation issues, listening to and counseling local people on their health problems, checking patients and distributing medication.

Language: All volunteers must have a good command of the English language. Some understanding of the local dialect would also be beneficial.

Setting Description:

Volunteers in Nepal are accommodated within our comfortable volunteer house, where you will have the opportunity to meet and socialize with many other like-minded people from around the world. Two home-cooked meals are provided each day and Wi-Fi and laundry services are available. Free time can be used to explore the amazing local area, or further afield to check out the sights and sounds of this fascinating country!

Cost:
