Founded in 1861, LAMDA is the oldest drama school in the UK. Today we offer exceptional vocational training for actors, stage managers, technicians and directors. Over Easter and the summer we welcome approximately 360 students onto our short courses.

Program Overview
- Program Description:
Throughout the summer we offer Short Courses to suit students of all abilities. Designed to challenge and inspire in a supportive environment, these are taught by the same tutors and industry professionals who lead LAMDA's full-time training. We also invite recent graduates and other visiting artists to work with our short course students. You will not only gain valuable skills, but also enjoy an introduction to British conservatoire training and the full LAMDA experience at first hand.
Our short courses include:
- Audition Technique (2 weeks)
- English Communication Skills Through Drama (3 weeks)
- Introduction to Drama School (2 weeks)
- Introduction to Screen Acting (2 weeks)
- Shakespeare Short Course (4 weeks)
- Skakespeare Summer School (8 weeks)

- From £500 to £4,450 depending on the course GBP.
Additional Program Information
- Requirements:
- The minimum entry age for our summer short courses is 16, although some are limited to those aged 18 and over. Applicants must be fluent English speakers.
