Communication with the Media

In this course participants will be shown how to actively communicate with media instead of being passive subjects to events. Students will be shown the basic forms of communication, their changeover and gradation. The risks that are associated with some of the most common errors in PR will also be tackled. Upon completion of the course, the participants will perceive public relations as a very sensitive work, that is not only a matter of enforcement, but also of invisibility of some topics.

Strategic Communication in PR

Aim of this course is to get to know psychology of journalists and working practices in the media that can multiply targets of Public Relations when used correctly. Students will learn how to plan PR activities and use them with different media. To become a successful spokesperson, it is also important to master the advanced communication and presentation skills. When keeping best practices, you will gain more confidence and ability to better resist the media attacks. At the same time, you will find out where the strengths and weaknesses of media are, and how to use them.
