Global Marketing

Aim of the course is to show to the students the basic principles, specifics and tools of strategic marketing in global merit. Students will learn about the important marketing practices, marketing research and marketing mix. The internet marketing as an important part of global marketing strategy is also part of the course. Last but not least, participants will become familiar with factors that influence decisions on entry into international markets, what are the entry forms requiring minimal capital investments (licensing, franchising), capital entry into foreign markets and other. Participants will also get information on selection of target markets, positioning in the international environment, and will become familiar with its specifics.

Marketing Communication

The aim of this course is to give participants a comprehensive overview of different marketing communication tools. The course will focus on functions of these tools, and especially their practical use. Students will become familiar with the objectives of marketing communication, the role of communication in the marketing strategy of the company, with creation of the communication mix and its methodology. Different types of marketing communication tools such as advertising, sales promotion, PR, sponsorship, personal selling, direct marketing, public relations, online communication, and more are also presented in course of the studies. The aim is to present the main current trends in marketing communication. Therefore the modern trends, which include guerrilla marketing, ambush marketing, branding, event marketing and mobile marketing cannot be left out.
