Program Description:

Liberty University’s 100% online Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Human Services can help equip students for entry-level positions in the field of social services. Throughout this program, students will explore a holistic approach to human services — one that accounts for the biological, psychological, social, and spiritual aspects of human existence. The B.S. in Human Services combines cutting-edge online course content with opportunities to gain hands-on experience, so students can prepare to serve in their communities with skill and integrity. With guidance from Liberty’s seasoned faculty, students can develop the tools needed to work in a variety of human services settings — both in the United States and abroad. This degree can also provide a solid foundation for future graduate studies in human services, counseling, psychology, or social work. The core content of the online human services degree covers case management, multicultural counseling, abnormal psychology, crisis intervention, social welfare and policy, and chemical dependency.
