Program Overview

Program Description:

This program is offered on a semester basis(fall and spring)and one six week summer session at the Lebanese American University Headquarters and Academic center in New York city.Three levels: Elementary, Intermediate and Advanced levels are offered; plus Two levels of levantine dialect.One on one tutorials are available upon request.

Four levels of Arabic language are offered: Elementary, Upper Elementary, Intermediate and Advanced.Two levels of Levantine Dialect: Beginners and Advanced.

All courses affered are 3 credits and LAU offers letter grades which can be transfered to the students home instituitions. Flexible hours to suit the students schedule. Intensive on demand instruction for professionals (credit and non credit) Evening and Saturday classes

Setting Description:

Formal instruction in language is enriched by immersion in an authentic cultural contect: lectures on topics related to Middle East history and culture as well as documentaries of events in Lebanon.
