The Master of Science in Criminal Justice with a concentration in Homeland Security and Global Justice prepares students to be able to handle threats to public security while giving them a foundation in terrorism studies, law and policy, and security. In the program, students will also learn to analyze crime and criminal justice systems in selected countries and cultures. Students completing Lasell College's Master of Science in Criminal Justice with a concentration in Homeland Security and Global Justice can go on to pursue careers as federal and local law enforcement officers and investigators, military supervisors and investigators, international and human rights organization workers and advocates, private detectives and investigators.
The 36 credits of coursework includes:- 21 credits of the core M.S. in Criminal Justice curriculum
9 credits of Homeland Security and Global Justice courses – Terrorism and Homeland Security, Transnational Crime, and Cybercrime and Data Security
6 credits of electives in relevant subject areasThe Homeland Security and Global Justice concentration provides robust preparation in federal law enforcement practices and international justice policy, positioning students to play invaluable roles in the essential work of safeguarding our nation.
