A range of programmes are available to those who are interested in gaining valuable work experience, studying Russian and spending time becoming acquainted with Russian culture first hand. Potential volunteers may apply for various roles, including translation, administration and classroom assistantship, depending on their individual needs and interests. A high level of assistance is given to participants, including full visa support, help with travel, orientation and, if desired, accomodation in Russia can be arranged.

Volunteers not only have the chance to get experience several interesting fields of work, but will have a fascinating insight into the Russian way of life. Participants may also attend 6 academic hours of free Russian lessons per week. This is a great opportunity to combine work and study, and everyday immersion in a Russian environment will significantly aid the language learning process.
Setting Description:
Participants will be based in Moscow, St Petersburg or Volgograd in Language Link's schools, which are in modern, re-furbished buildings near the city center.
Cost:
Costs vary according to the location, the length of programme, the type of volunteership and the kind of homestay. For example, a volunteer in Moscow living in a shared flat in the 2010-2011 academic year for 12 weeks paid 2110 euros. For more details on prices, please see the website.
