Program Description:

The project at La Giraudiere as been described as an exchange of knowledge and cultures and simply works like this. By contributing and applying the skills or knowledge you already have towards the project you will in return learn or improve your knowledge of the French Language plus you can learn new skills from building a small holiday hamlet to building a website.

La Giraudiere offers you the chance to learn French, sample life in France and explore the delights of the wonderful south west region of France whilst at the same time being part of a group that is contributing towards a project that will be here in south west France for years to come. At La Giraudiere we are putting in place a small holiday hamlet which once completed will specialise in offering school trips for UK, USA and non French schools. The school trips will be designed to introduce non-French children to France and the French way of life. These summer term programs will also continue

Setting Description:

La Giraudiere is set in the Charente South west France a department known for it's rolling hills of woodland and grape vines. La Giraudiere is 1km from the village of Brossac.
