Program Description:

16th-25th August, 2013 10 days of private lessons, open master-classes, lectures, workshops, improvisation sessions and 12 concerts, 4 of which are student-based

various recitals - new music concert - quartet for the end of time by Messiaen, both in analysis class and in concert - free improvisation concert in collaboration with music theatre team - concert for St. Cecilia (Haendel and Britten) - stage Opera (Dido and Aeneas by Purcell) - closing orchestral concert - lectures on Britten, Lutoslawski, Messiaen - full moon, open air concert

8-10 individual lessons for active participants, free pass to all events and lectures and participation in ensemble and solo concerts

Setting Description:

Kozani is a small, historical and industrial town in the North West of Greece, 90' away from some of the most stunning nature in any direction. Lessons take place in a local music school and concerts are spread around in various venues.

Cost:

180 Euros for active participants 200-300 Euros for hotel accommodation for 10 days (half board) Travel cost subject to departure gate!
