- 2015 KAIST International Summer School is open for undergraduates graduate students. We offer two programs: 1) Course-oriented program (6 credits) and 2) Individual research program (1 credit). Our summer program offers field trips and extra excursions for the students every weekend to experience Korean culture and visit various parts of Korea.
2015 KAIST International Summer School is open for undergraduates graduate students. We offer two programs: 1) Course-oriented program (6 credits) and 2) Individual research program (1 credit). Our summer program offers field trips and extra excursions for the students every weekend to experience Korean culture and visit various parts of Korea. We invite you to come experience innovative teaching and the blending of cultures this summer at the 2015 KAIST International Summer School Program. This experience will most definitely broaden your cultural understanding, deepen your intellectual capacity, and expand your network of friends. - Setting Description:
- KAIST is located in Daejeon, South Korea. KAIST's President Sung Mo 'Steve' Kang has emphasized and set the defined goals of approaching and collaborating with the industries, research institutions and venture capital companies of the world in order to further KAIST's capacity to do research, create knowledge, and transfer technology thus simultaneously creating jobs and promoting entrepreneurship. A majority of these industries and institutions are located in the vicinity of where the main KAIST campus is located, called the Daedeok Innopolis, otherwise known as the 'Silicon Valley' ofDaejeon, South Korea. The aims to strengthen ties between KAIST and industries would serve to enhance the collaborative efforts of both parties, especially with regards to research, innovation, and creation of new jobs. Such results would serve to stimulate the nation's economy and the betterment of humanity through knowledge creation, technology transfer, and entrepreneurship while serving as a nation
