Translation: Now, when everything is behind me, I can perceive my whole trip to Florence trying to remain objective as much as I can. From the first day I knew that I made the right choice and that Florence will be an unforgettable experience. When
I arrived I felt something else in the air from what I feel in Belgrade. The streets were full of tourists from all over the world, delicious aromas of nearby restaurants and historical monuments that were breathtaking. Then, in a few days I started attending Italian courses at IE, and I was full of positive impressions. I met many foreign friends that I will always remember, I practiced and improved Italian every day trying to say everything I would like to say in Serbian. Even I was looking forward to visiting the galleries, museums and monuments for which Florence is very famous in the world, and there is no better way to explore Italian culture than to explore it with your friends. I also want to say a few words from our professor Alessandro. Each class did everything it could to improve lessons with its grammar materials and conversation topics. All the classes were fun in his way and I must say it was nice to have him as a professor. Praise also to IE administration and director Rinaldo for being very kind throughout the course. I bring many memories of this trip and I hope we will see you at least once more. Regards! Saluti!

I studied in Siena (1 hr distance by car from Firenze, approximately), at the Università per Stranieri. Siena its a nice, small place with cute cafes and social spots. Just the best, for me! My internship was a great opportunity for me. I developed my
Italian language well and met some great people. The workplace was exactly what I needed. My colleagues were very supportive. I learnt a lot also: among many other things, I learnt about multiple different areas of crime and criminality, and all round I am pleased with my experience.

Translation: My experience in the European Institute has been really good. They have always commissioned me to work within my field (which is advertising) and they have given me a lot of freedom to develop my creativity and contribute ideas, which
in this type of work is very positive. The treatment I have had with colleagues has been magnificent, it is a very pleasant place to work and there is a very good atmosphere. The place where it is is great, because it is in the center of Florence, and this has allowed me to see some of the most beautiful places in the city every day. On the other hand, in addition to work, at school they have worried me that I know the Florentine culture, they have taught me typically Tuscan places and customs and they have facilitated my stay in Florence informing me of how to move around the city, what places to see .. . In summary, I would say that they have been very pleasant practices, that have allowed me to learn and develop my work as a publicist and that have helped me to immerse myself in the Florentine culture and make my stay easier. I am very happy with the experience. Original Review: Mi experiencia en el Istituto Europeo ha sido verdaderamente buena. Here is my story at istituto Europeo: I was looking for an Internship opportunity in some European country when an old friend of mine passed the wind of Istituto Europeo to me. I've got several options in Germany, Italy and France. As I was short of time
and I had to get the ball rolling. You know what I did? I made a list of advantages and disadvantages of all the institutions I could pass my Internship at, I contacted the coordinators, had an interview with them and only the coordinator at Istituto Europeo responded to all of my questions patiently, showed his own willingness and support for me to pass an Internship with them. But still I've got cold feet before arriving to Florence as I had no idea of what was gonna happen next. But as soon as I entered the university all the worries and fear disappeared since the management staff was already waiting for me with the necessary documents ready. Frankly speaking I had the best couple of months in my life in Florence. Italy is a wonderland. Istituto Europeo gives you great opportunities to practice, share your own experience and get more and more skills and knowledge that you will definitely to use the rest of your life. In other words, take your chance, you are not gonna regret it!!!

In short? The best vacation. I was for the first time alone in a foreign country and we all know that that is always the best way to learn a foreign language. It was great to meet other students from all over the world. The istitute has students from
any corner of the globe and a very lively, international community. I made a lot of new friendships, many of which I'm still in contact with. I really liked Florence and it wasn't my first time there and certainly not the last. I'm certainly planning to go back soon enough!

- Social Media Marketing/Journalism Internship in Florence03/14/20
My internship at Istituto Europeo was fantastic! I got to spend my time writing about all the exciting things to see and do in Florence for the institute's blog. It was a great opportunity to gain working experience as well as delve deeper into the Italian
culture. The administration were all sincere, kind, and helpful, and I enjoyed going to my internship every day. Rinaldo, the director of the institute, was always very helpful and attentive to my needs. If I had the opportunity, I would do it again without a doubt!

I had an amazing experience interning abroad in Florence, Italy. The program helped me find a great internship and housing and helped me throughout the whole process. My boss and supervisors at my workplace were extremely kind, understanding and flexible
and I was able to learn a lot in a laid back, Italian envirnoment. I really enjoyed being able to experience another culture and actually live here. Living abroad is much different than just visiting, you have the opportunity to gain a respect and understanding for the culture, the place and the people. I am so glad I took this chance and lived in Italy for the summer, my future career and personal life will benefit from this experience.

Istituto Europeo gave me the perfect internship experience while in Florence. The internship had flexible hours, my coworkers and boss were all extremely warm and welcoming, and I had the chance to try out a job that focused on a different area than
what I study at university (healthcare management). At first I was a little disappointed that my internship placement wasn't in a hospital or doctor's office, however I am delighted with my placement now because I've been able to learn new skills, meet different people, and learn about what it takes to run a business in a different industry successfully (jewelry). The staff at IE were always very helpful when I needed them, and checked up from time to time to make sure that everything was okay both at work and in my apartment. I really loved the experience of being able to live in an apartment with students from different countries, and have made many international friends because of it!! I would recommend this program to anyone looking to intern in Florence because it is MUCH MUCH more affordable than other internship programs that provide the same services, and they additionally allow you the option to take an intensive italian language course while you're here (which was very helpful!!). I had a great experience this summer in Florence, and it's all thanks to IE! Grazie per tutto, Istituto Europeo!!!

For me it was a wonderful experience that lasted 3 months, in which I took daily Italian morning class, as well as art history and Tuscan cuisine. I invite you to live the experience of Florence and its culture accompanied by the European Institute. It
is a very good program. And I will never forget this experience. I am sure that the memory of this course will accompany me for a long time in my life! I can't wait to go back! Trust me on this! You really can't improve. Rinaldo and all his staff are really the best! A family!

Setting up the internship was pretty easy. The process is fast and the cost is cheap! I chose to live with a family. This allowed me to save some money as dinner was provided. In addition, I got to practice Italian. I do think socially though it would
have been better to live with other students. The internship itself was more of a research project. I learned a lot but I do wish it was more hands on with the people I worked with. It was still a great experience though. Plus, I got to live in Florence for two months.

- internship in pharmacovigilance in Florence, Italy09/26/16
I chose Italy because I was interested in the Italian language, and this program has given me the chance to both study Italian and intern in pharmacovigilance. I chose Istituto Europeo’s internship program also for the excellent internship placement,
the good price and the possibility to intern without any knowledge of Italian. I’m doing an internship in Pharmacovigilance, also known as Drug Safety. In general, pharmacovigilance analyzes the side effects of many kinds of medicines on patients. In particular, my research focuses on the side effects of new medicines introduced in Europe and Italy, but well known and used for several years in the USA. I really enjoy my internship and would definitely recommend this internship in pharmacovigilance. In my experience, most people I work with speak English, so I don’t have much difficulty. In other fields, some knowledge of the Italian language is required; one more reason to study Italian!
