Studying abroad in Valencia, Spain was the best experience of my life, and not only because of the professional benefits but because the experience has impacted who I am as an individual. I no longer second guess my decisions or feel insecure about my
identity because I have learned to appreciate who I am and I now look forward to who I will become. I have also gained countless skills, such as management in money, time, organization, independence, confidence, public speaking skills, communication, problem solving skills, and flexibility to list a few. The reason for this long list is because studying abroad defines "learning from experience," and I have had countless. I encourage everyone who has the opportunity to study abroad to take it because it is a once in a lifetime opportunity. After college, we will have an outstanding number of responsibilities that disable us from even thinking about leaving the country. In addition, there are many misconceptions about studying abroad that I encourage you to explore and research because despite fears of affordability, support, and enjoyment because studying abroad isn't only an academical or professional benefit, but a personal investment for the rest of your life. (P.S. For Images follow me @nikis_travels to get an Idea of where I have been and what I have learned!)
