Program Description:

Seoul is both the largest city and capital of South Korea. It enjoys a central location within East Asia with China on its west and Japan to its east. Seoul is truly a representative global city in the ways that it integrates traditional culture in contemporary life. Students will explore the natural beauty of the country along with its royal palaces, Buddhist temples, and sleek skyscrapers.

The ISA programs in Seoul offer students a large number and wide range of English courses from which to choose. Students in the sciences, arts, humanities, social sciences, applied sciences, and even those from more specialized fields will have the opportunity to take courses for their major, minor, and even courses that can count toward their general education requirements at their home school. All courses will be taken with local students at either Konkuk University or Korea University, two of South Korea's best universities.

Setting Description:
The ISA office is Seoul is located in between the Konkuk University and Korea University campuses. All ISA students will be able to visit the ISA staff to talk about their cultural experiences, obtain language tutoring and receive assistance with all aspects of daily life in Seoul. Student who wish to travel during the program will also be able to get advice from the ISA staff on travel within the region.
