Program Overview
- Program Description:
Ho Chi Minh City (population 8,426,100) began as a small fishing village and has since transformed into the most populous city in all of Vietnam. The city's personality is found in its unique dichotomy, as it is the perfect blend of traditional and modern. Ho Chi Minh City boasts everything from fine dining to street food, upscale hotels to inexpensive guesthouses and hostels, and premium shopping centers to the cheapest of markets. Ornate pagodas and temples can often be seen right around the corner from large, modern skyscrapers. The streets are bustling, the people are friendly, and the coffee is strong.
The ISA Ho Chi Minh City semester and summer programs allows students to select courses from a wide variety of fields of study allowing their study abroad experience to fit their individual academic needs. The Ho Chi Minh City study abroad program is conducted through RMIT University Vietnam, with options to choose from over a hundred courses taught in English by host university professors. Students in the semester and long-term summer programs will enroll in courses alongside Vietnamese and international students.
