As the last Muslim stronghold to be recaptured by the Christian monarchs in 1492, Granada overflows with cultural and architectural remnants of an illustrious past, which has made it a familiar name to historians and tourists alike. Today Granada is a vibrant, youthful city where university students abound, including a large international student population from around the world.
ISA programs at the University of Granada vary in length and content. Programs are available for students at any Spanish language level, from absolute beginner to very advanced. Students at the high-intermediate and advanced levels may also select programs which focus more heavily on Spanish culture and civilization. Participants are in the classroom with other international students. Gap Year Opportunities also available.

- The ISA office is conveniently located yards from the University of Granada's original Center for Modern Languages (CLM) building. At the ISA office students can use the internet, receive tutoring, obtain travel advice, practice Spanish or simply have a quiet refuge for studying. Our friendly resident staff is available during office hours and is on-call after hours.
