Program Overview

Program Description:
Students fly into Madrid where they meet the ISA resident staff and the rest of the group upon arrival. Over the next three days, the group participates in a pre-program excursion with visits in Madrid and Toledo while also attending on-site orientations. During the orientations, the ISA staff discusses Spain’s history and culture, what to expect while living with a homestay, the academic program and adjusting to daily life in Sevilla. After arriving in the city, students meet their homestay, visit the ISA on-site office, take a language placement exam administered by the Universidad Internacional Menéndez Pelayo (UIMP) and begin classes. In addition to taking classes, during the week, students have meetings with their ISA resident director and participate in cultural activities. On the weekends, students travel to places like Conil, Gibralter, Lagos, and Matalascañas!
