This is arguably our most cultural program and not for the faint of heart. Volunteers who are seeking cultural immersion and an adventure should visit our webpage dedicated to the Morocco program. Volunteers are accommodated in traditional riads with local host families who are experienced in hosting international volunteers. Most of the population including host parents do not speak English, and if you are up for a challenge, consider taking advantage of the Arabic or French language lessons offered in-country. If you already can speak French or Arabic, then this program is well-suited for you as there are specialized projects in need of your skills. These include Teaching French, Teaching English, and Working with Women. Other projects include Childcare and Sports Development, and during June and July, the Ramadan project takes place. Past volunteers have regarded the food and the hospitality offered by the host families to be tasty and fulfilling, and the history and art of Rabat, Casablanca and Marrakech are also considered to be a highlight of this program.
