Zurich is a city of beautiful historic buildings, grand streets and lively cafés, making it one of the most wonderful places to learn German in Switzerland!

Our language school occupies an ideal location just five minutes’ walk from both the historic town centre and Lake Zurich.

Facilities including recently refurbished classrooms, a computer room with free internet access and a student lounge make LSI Zurich an extremely comfortable environment in which to study German.

We offer a variety of German exam courses, including the Zertifikat Deutsch, as well as more general German language programmes. Whichever course you choose, you will find our fully qualified and highly experienced teachers friendly and ready to assist you!


General language courses at LSI provide language training in a group environment. These programmes will improve all areas of your language skills. You can also choose to specialise in a number of different areas.
During Standard lessons you rapidly improve your communication skills in a variety of everyday situations. In 2 lessons each day you will cover the following areas: grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation. In a further 2 lessons you concentrate on: speaking, listening, reading, writing. You use a text book and a wide variety of materials and exercises including roleplays, authentic materials, newspapers and magazines.

We provide you with what our academic team have identified as being the very best course books currently available for your level. We are also committed to providing the latest technology inside the classroom. We utilise the most cutting edge audio, video and web based resources.
