Program Description:

Established in 1975, International Language Institute is affiliated to the Worldwide Organization of International House London which currently has 150 member schools worldwide and is the exclusive IH provider of Arabic language courses.
Our courses start monthly and we guarantee to offer 9 course levels of Modern Standard Arabic (MSA: educated reading and writing Arabic), from beginners to advanced levels. With some 200-300 full time students monthly from all over the world, we have the capacity to do this.

The objective of our MSA courses is to enable you to read and write at an academic level and to enable you to follow current day-to-day events in the Middle East and North Africa.


Cultural and Leisure Program:
During your stay in Cairo we can organize tours to locations such as the Pharaonic, Greco-Roman, Islamic and Coptic monuments, the Red Sea, the Mediterranean, the Sinai Peninsula and, of course, the majestic River Nile river. You will have the opportunity to see some of the most incredible sites in the world. All tours include air-conditioned buses and guides!
Setting Description:

We teach Fous-ha or Modern Standard Arabic which is used in more academic conversation, books newspapers and the media. The course enables you to develop your reading and writing skills as well as listening and speaking. As you progress you will be able to follow cultural and current affairs in the Middle East and be able to understand radio and TV programs, read Arabic literature and also Islamic texts.

Structure:
  • Lessons: 15 hours per week for 1 month (4 weeks)
  • Classes are from Sunday to Thursday weekly
  • Classes run from 9.00am to 2.30pm
  • All levels all year around
  • Class sizes average 8 - 10 students. Maximum 16
  • Course Length: 4 weeks
