This program will prepare the student with knowledge and skills necessary to be a Medical Assistant in a medical office or clinic, with the skills in office administration, computer and clinical areas. Student will also receive course instruction in Public Speaking, Critical Thinking and Reading and Writing providing the students ability to communicate effectively and think independently. Students will also be encouraged to obtain Industry Standard Certifications, proving their skill level ability to the employers. This degree offering could result in a student having several different certifications including the Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) and the Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT). A Medical internship and clinical experiences are also offered as part of this program allowing students to practice classroom skills in the medical office under supervision of medical professionals. Lifetime Graduate placement assistance and Flexible class scheduling is also offered.
