Program Description:

The Hawaii State Courts are a great place to get an introduction to the legal system. We work in courts in several different levels of the judiciary including county and state positions. As well as performing in-court duties, we have options to work outside of or alongside the courts supporting the community in legal matters. There is some flexibility to combine in job duties and we will match your skill set to the options available. Job Description Clerical Aide Probation Case Aide Data Entry Court Orientation Docent Legal Documents Worker Aid children in need Sibling Support Child advocacy Some specific areas of involvement include: Kid's First Kid’s First, an education program for families going through divorce, needs caring and reliable people to facilitate children's groups. Facilitators must be good communicators, get along well with children (ages 6 to 17) and be able to volunteer for two (2) hours during one evening each month. If you are interested in becoming a Kids First facilitator, please contact one of the program coordinators listed below. Project Visitation Project Visitation helps to maintain the relationship between siblings who are living in separate foster homes by bringing them together for monthly visitations. Social workers refer cases of separated foster siblings to the program. Child Advocacy Trained interns appointed by the court to represent the best interests of a child in a child abuse or neglect case. Must be at least 20 years old: serve as fact-finders, advocates, and monitors for children in need.

IGS programs are the best programs for the money. We have purposefully kept cost below our competitors to allow us to work with deserving students. You will get one on one counseling throughout the process and we are available seven days per week. We provide students a letter of reccomendation as needed. And our founder, Dr. David Adams, can serve as a job reference in the future.
Setting Description:
We work in big cities like Rio de Janeiro as well as rural locations. You can choose your location for most internships. IGS provides a contact person for each country. You will be picked up at the airport and shown your internship location. Next, we will tak you to your housing. You are guaranteed a private room a short commute to your job site. We try to place you where you can make friends easily in parts of town with other students and in housing options with people like yourself. We want you to be comfortable!

Four Weeks $2335 Six Weeks $3255 Eight Weeks $3850 Twelve Weeks $4495 $500 more for custom internships Hawaii, New Zealand, Australia, and Europe cost around $300 more per each four weeks.
