Program Description:

Each January, IAU sponsors eight J-term Traveling Seminars, varying in length and location. Select one of nine seminars! Aix-en-Provence - Marseille and Aix-en-Provence American Diplomacy - Marseille, Aix-en-Provence, Casablanca, Rabat, Paris, Istanbul Europe and the Islamic World Seminar - France, Spain, Gibraltar and Morocco French Wine Studies - France (Paris, Reims, Burgundy, Lyon, Provence) Great Cities - Italy, France, Czech Republic and England Mediterranean Basin Seminar - France, Greece, Turkey and Italy Shakespeare and the Theatre - England (London, Stratford and Oxford) Religion, Art & Architecture - Morocco, Spain, Turkey and Israel

Join a multi-country traveling seminar during the January intersession. Attend a series of briefings from leading European academic, literary and political personalities and experts. Participants will attend daily lectures and meetings with distinguished scholars from IAU in addition to local guides and experts in the field of politics, history and culture.

Program fees include: * Tuition for three semester credits * Lodging in 3 and 4 star hotels * Continental breakfast every day and some evening meals * Entrance fees to all museums and guest lecture venues * Orientation * Health, liability and repatriation insurance * Intra-European transportation * Scheduled cultural activities Additional student costs include round trip airfare, lunches, textbooks, and personal expenses.

Setting Description:

Join one of IAU College’s January Term to explore Europe and the Mediterranean Region on a three week, three credit traveling seminar. Students are led by IAU and visiting faculty from partner institutions on one of nine seminars this January 2016.
