Program Overview
- Program Description:
As a global city with internship placements in business, media, and so much more, Dublin is the perfect place for a semester-long internship abroad. With IES Internships, you are guaranteed an unpaid, for-credit, 14-week internship of at least 32 hours per week in a business or organization that suits your career goals. Build a global network of professional contacts and gain real-world experience all while exploring everything that Dublin has to offer.
While in Dublin, you’ll live with three to five other IES interns and students in fully-furnished apartments well-located in central Dublin. You’ll also enroll in our required 3-credit internship seminar where you’ll discuss cultural issues in the workplace. On the weekends, join IES Abroad-organized field trips that take you beyond the city to discover the culture and traditions of Ireland. Imagine experiencing Ireland’s national sport of hurling, taking in a play at one of Dublin’s famous theatres, or simply enjoying the live music at a local pub with your new local and international friends. Whatever your tastes and interests are, you’ll be able to satisfy them in Dublin.
Founded in 1950, IES Abroad is a global, not-for-profit study abroad organization with 125+ academic programs in Africa, Asia Pacific, Europe, and Latin America. To learn more about what we offer visit our website.
