- Earn 3 credits in approximately three weeks when you study abroad with us on our January Term program in Dublin! Dublin’s lively theatre scene dates to the mid-17th century when plays were produced at Smock Alley Theatre, on the south bank of the River Liffey. This theatre has been redeveloped on its original site, with state-of-the-art performance spaces, and now serves as home to the Gaiety School of Acting - National Theatre School of Ireland, where you'll enroll.
We offer a unique program through the Gaiety School of Acting that explores Acting and Theater through an in-depth and hands-on approach. Through our study abroad program, world-class professors enhance your academic experience and provide you with new perspectives both in and out of class. You take one course for a total of 3 credits. The Acting course consists of conservatory-style training with voice, movement, and improvisation.
