Program Description:

Our Intensive Japanese lessons with small classes and a maximum of 6 students, have a balanced focus on conversation, reading and writing. We specialize in short term stays and our extracurricular activities are structured for students to make the most of their time in Japan. We offer a variety of culture experience lessons, so everyone will find something they are interested in. We pride ourselves in providing our students a very warm and relaxed environment to learn Japanese and many opportunities to meet local people!

No matter which Japanese level you possess, we welcome you to join us!

·Courses start every Monday. And can be can be as short as a week. ·Classes are small with a maximum of 6 students. ·15 lessons per week, 1 lesson is 50 minutes.

Setting Description:
Sapporo is one of the largest cities in Japan, but within a short drive or train ride you can find incredibly stunning places to enjoy breathtaking nature. The food in Hokkaido is great, the people are kind, and the combination of city and country life is beautiful. To help you enjoy all aspects of Sapporo, Hokkaido JaLS provide you with many after-school and weekend activities. Hokkaido JaLS has great access from both the Sapporo Station and Odori Station (five minutes on foot from both stations) and we are surrounded by many restaurants, shops and other tourist attractions.
