Program Overview

Program Description:
One course surveys the Norwegian legal system, its history and traditions, and covers such topics as human rights and the European free trade association. The other course exposes students to techniques of international negotiations.

This program offers students the opportunity to broaden their understanding of the American and Norwegian legal systems and allows them to study comparative law and international diplomacy in the setting of another country's legal system.

Setting Description:
Students spend two weeks at the University of Oslo Law School and 2 weeks at the University of Bergen Law School.
