Program Description:

Studying abroad in Austria gives high school students with an interest in music or general Austrian culture an upclose look at the birthplace of some of the most talented composers. Even if you aren't drawn to classical music, Austria is a geographical goldmine if you enjoy exploring the outdoors.

This is your chance to live with a host family while attending a local high school and practicing your German language skills during a trimester, semester or academic year abroad.

Program fee includes:

  • Roundtrip international airfare from a gateway city
  • Host family accommodations and 3 meals per day
  • Medical/Accident insurance
  • Support from in-country staff
  • 24-hour emergency support
  • Transfer from the orientation site to the host placement
  • Pre-departure and arrival orientation
  • Greeting at final destination
  • Personal assistance from a Greenheart Travel program manager
     
Setting Description:
All high school students will live with a local Austrian host family and attend a local high school alongside their Austrian peers. All classes are taught in the native language for a full cultural immersion experience.
