- Austria 2015-201607/15/16
My son spent the 2015-16 school year in a small village outside Vienna, and attended school in the heart of Vienna. Greenheart/STS was a pleasure to work with every step of the way. I found both the stateside and the Austrian representatives to be on
point whenever I contacted them: information and assistance was always prompt, accurate, and effective. Late in the year my son had one hiccup with a rule violation, which was handled very quickly, very fairly, and with the maximum possible communication with me throughout, so that I felt my status as a parent was respected. I'm sure the parent's experience before the age of Facebook and Skype was very, very different, but getting a steady stream of updates from the host parents and the area representative, especially the formal monthly reports, made me feel included in my son's year abroad and very well informed indeed. If I had other children interested in an exchange experience, I would use Greenheart/STS again without hesitation, and I will recommend them to friends.
