- Program Description:
- The course provide a unique opportunity for international students to raise their awareness about the key global forces and structures affecting their lives. Taught in English by a multicultural faculty, the course focuse on key current global issues of our time. The method comprises expert inputs, active student participation leading to concrete results, e.g. articles, short films, multimedia presentations, public actions, exhibitions, performances etc

The course is deliberately designed to build the capcity of youth to become well informed and active global citizens with the awareness, knowledge, understanding and self-confidence to live, work and study anywhere in the world. In addition to Crossing Borders, students can enrol in other courses such as the Age of the BRICS, Introduction to Denmark, Current International Affairs, Event-making, photography and out-door life.
- Setting Description:
- The course takes place in an international residential environment at Krogerup college in Humlebæk 35 kilometres north of Copenhagen and 8 kilometres south of Elsinore. Krogerup is surounded by a beautiful park with many rare trees and the organic farm, Aarstiderne. The sea is just a 7 – 8 minutes walk to good sandy beaches north or south of the Louisiana Museum of Modern Art.
