The Master of Arts in Teaching degree provides initial teacher preparation at the master's degree level for qualified candidates who hold a bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution with a major in a content field in which Georgia certifies teachers, or who show enhancement through additional course work to equal a major in the desired teaching field.
