Program Overview

Program Description:
This Shakespeare in Performance program will be held in London and Stratford-upon-Avon. The program begins with one week in London where students will focus on Shakespeare's theatre, past, and present. The second week of the course will be held in Stratford-upon-Avon, the town in which Shakespeare was born.

The program includes visits to Shakespeare's Globe and the Middle Temple Hall, as well as various performances in both London and Stratford-upon-Avon. Performances will be accompanied by lectures and discussions. Participants can receive undergraduate or graduate credit for the course "Shakespeare: Text and Performance."

Cost:
Program fees include tuition, accommodations (with breakfast) in London and Stratford, round-trip transportation between London and Stratford, underground transportation in London, visits to Shakespeare sites, two dinners, and tickets to six performances. The program cost does not include all other meals, personal expenses, and round-trip travel from the United States to London.
