Program Description:

This condensed 4 week course employs special techniques of location photography in order to create compelling narrative. Emphasis is placed on storytelling, along with production processes and contemporary media output methods. Student will explore concepts of both fiction and non-fiction narrative through a variety of lighting and shooting techniques.  The class is devoted to subject research and creative photography. Planning and logistics of shooting on location are covered.

Eligibility & Prerequisites

This program is open to all undergraduate students including students who do not attend George Mason University. Prerequisite: completion of AVT 253: Introduction to Digital Photography or permission of instructors.
