- Program Description:
‘Korean Language and Culture’ summer immersion program aims at enhancing Korean linguistic and cultural competencies of beginner level students by offering fully immersed Korean language and culture environments for four weeks. Students can select either KORE 110 Basic Korean (6 credits) or KORE 210/250 Combined Intermediate Korean (6 credits) depending on their proficiency levels. Target students are current GMU students and international students at GMUK and this program includes various cultural trips aligned with cultural lessons. Upon finishing this program, students are expected to perform Novice Mid to High (KORE 110) or Intermediate Mid to High (KORE 210/250 Combined) Korean proficiency level according to ACTFL guideline.

Eligibility
This program is open to all undergraduate students including students who do not attend George Mason University.
