Program Overview

Program Description:

The International Executive MBA (IEMBA) at Geneva Business School is a new format of MBA that allows you to choose what, when, and where you study.

About

Aimed at working executives, candidates can select their own end goals and solve business challenges they are currently facing. Geneva Business School’s environment of experienced professionals offers unique insights and personalized mentoring that develop the business knowledge and soft skills needed for 21st-century leaders.

We use the diversity of our experienced professional faculty to offer a customizable program, so everything you study is immediately relevant to your individual needs and goals. This makes the course ideal for business professionals who are ready to shape their own future. If you have a business problem or an innovative idea that you want to focus on intensely, the IEMBA is for you.

During each semester of the IEMBA, the community will come together in our campus cities for two intensive weeks of events, from guest speakers, company visits, and face-to-face meetings with supervisors; to social events and networking dinners.

Program Structure

The content of the online IEMBA is tailored to each candidate's individual needs, and based on a current issue you are facing in your career. The entire degree is worth 90 ECTS, split over three sections.

There are eight core modules that are spread over our three intensive sessions on one of our campuses. These modules will set the groundwork for the semester ahead, and each is worth 3 ECTS (24 ECTS in total). The second aspect of the IEMBA are webinars and toolkits, in which students demonstrate their use of professional insights and skills to shape the final part of the program – the final project. Mentorship and toolkits combine to make up 30 ECTS.

The final project, and the main element of the program, is where students work alongside their mentors to present a solution to an issue they wish to address. Your final project will be based on the plan submitted during the application process, and will represent 36 ECTS.
