Program Description:
Graduates of the Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Sports Management program at Franklin Pierce University are prepared to successfully manage and lead in a wide array of sports-related settings: professional and amateur sports organizations, intercollegiate athletics, sports and recreation marketing and public relations firms. Students can focus on the business management of sport-specific organizations, operation of sport facilities or the development of sport merchandising programs. This dynamic program is enhanced by the guidance of an impressive industry advisory board with high-level representatives from the Boston Red Sox, New Hampshire International Speedway, other sports venues, and key sports business leaders. The board is capable of providing students with significant networking opportunities leading to access to professional sports teams and raceways, multinational businesses and the entertainment industry. All students will participate in either an internship or actionbased research project toward the conclusion of their program to provide immediate access and experience in their chosen field. The M.B.A. in Sports Management is designed to meet the needs of busy, working adults. Students can enroll year-round; classes are presented in multiple formats for maximum flexibility. Hybrid classes (a combination of classroom and online learning) are offered on weekday evenings at several centers throughout New Hampshire and online classes are accessible 24/7 from any location with Internet access. This degree can be completed 100% online, if desired.
