I came into this program not knowing anyone, I was nervous travelling Europe with a bunch of people I did not know. I became a Student Assistant in order to help put myself out there more. Once I landed in Barcelona, all of my nervousness went away. The
staff members were very friendly and took me in as family right away. It was amazing how everyone in the program became so close so fast. Originally, I wasn't suppose to stay for the full program, but as the days went on and I became closer to everyone I switched my plans and decided to stay the entire time. I really like how the program didn't restrict you to visiting the cities that were only on their agenda, they allowed weekend trips for the students to travel wherever they pleased. The program was a very well organized, staff provided you with weekly schedules whenever you arrived into a new city. Also, they updated the students as quickly as possible whenever there was a change in schedule. Overall, I was able to learn a lot more about myself and the world around me. I would do this program again a thousand times if I could.
