Program Overview

Program Description:
The Transnational MBA (TMBA) is Fordham's first executive-style MBA program designed for working business professionals and managers on a fast track toward challenging global assignments. Two major themes, Technology and Global issues, infuse the curriculum. The format provides for in-person attendance one weekend per month for approximately 25 months while students keep their full-time jobs. Between monthly class weekends, program participants utilize the latest interactive technology to complete assignments and exchange ideas. TMBA students and faculty form a global learning network through the use of the World Wide Web, electronic bulletin boards, e-mail, computer based video conferencing, CD-ROM and specialized software selected especially for the program. The monthly teaching weekends are held from Friday to Sunday at Terrytown House, an executive conference center in Westchester county just 24 miles north of Manhattan. An integral part of the program is the series of three "residentials," each constituting one weekend on-site at a location of particular business interest (Tokyo, for example, to view robotics). Class size is limited.
