Students enrolling in this program are expected to take the additional required courses needed to obtain a teaching certificate. While the majority of the courses in the M.A. are the same as the M. Ed., assignments and critical tasks are often assigned to take into consideration the fact that the student's goals may not be the same as for those who currently teach in PK-12 settings.
