The Florence Classical Arts Academy offers you to take its One-Year Course. The One-Year program is the first year of the Three-Year program and is Foundation Year in one's professional art education. This course provides the students with highly individual and customised training in small student groups. Our professors are top-notch experts who will meet you on your level of preparation and your artistic background. The sequence of learning unfolds from drawing and painting basic geometrical figures, then still-life then casts and finally leading to portraiture.  This program enables a student to gain the necessary applied knowledge in order to begin building their portfolio.

Setting Description:

The mission of the Florence Classical Arts Academy is to teach fundamental principles, methods and techniques of classical art, diligently transmitted over the centuries since the Italian Renaissance. Our academic program provides thorough training in anatomy, composition, chromatics, perspective, painting, constructive drawing, and study of the works of Old Masters. With this solid framework, students can thus develop their own individual style and creative expression, becoming in essence New Masters. Our instructors are highly qualified professionals with vast experience in the arts and trained in art academies in Russia. The classes are held in both Russian and English.
