Program Overview

Program Description:

We offer hosting, classes, information, accompaniment, and provide an overall fun stay. The Experience includes 3 weekly bus passes, one thematic lunch or dinner per week and all of the daily breakfasts. Our outings include Quebec city, Trois-Rivieres and Sorel-Tracy, alternating with Saint-Hilaire and Drummondville. We also offer the Experience to participants who already have a residence.

The Quebec Experience is a Montreal-based organisation which provides cultural discovery stays of Quebec through workshops, French courses, conferences, group activities and outings in key places of Quebec history. Our purpose is to initiate the discovery of the Quebec province, both culturally and socially, while facilitating the cultural immersion of our participants. We base the Experience on values such as openness, diversity, implication and discovery, and offer a life experience that contributes to the participant's personal development.

The price includes 3 weeks hosting in one of Montreal’s hostels, 3 weekly bus passes, museum entries, all activities from the curriculum, thematic conferences, French classes, planned outings, 3 thematic lunches or dinners and all daily breakfasts (except for arrival and departure day). The price does not include the plane ticket, most lunches and dinners, extra-curriculum activities and individual outings, as well as souvenirs and all other personal expenses.

Setting Description:

The headquarters are based in the heart of Montreal, one of the most diverse and active cities, known not only for it's cultural facet, but also for its vibrant nightlife and openess. The next program is August 9th to August 30th.
