- The European Summer School in Prague is an intensive 12 day learning programme focused on European integration. It is organized by one of the leading think-tanks in Prague, EUROPEUM Institute for European Policy, in co-operation with Prague College, the Charles University Faculty of Social Sciences and under the auspices of the European Commission Representation in the Czech Republic. This year’s European Summer School is titled “Challenges for Europe – regional integration in a fragmented world”. How does the EU operate in an increasingly polarised world? How does it react to its internal challenges? Find out in Prague, at the 13th annual European Summer School!
Our academic program consists of lectures with the most interesting people - for example Special envoy of Czech Republic for the energy security, Mr. Václav Bartuška, Hungarian professor of economics Zoltán Pogátsa or on of the leading experts on European Law, Jean Monnet Chair in EU Law prof. Ivo Šlosarcík from the Charles University in Prague. Beside the learning part, we will visit places fascinating for anyone interested in international relations - Czech Parliament, Radio free Europe/Radio Liberty and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic. Last but not least, you will have a wonderful opportunity to discover Prague, beautiful historical city in the very heart of Europe!
