- A Great Team11/17/20
I would like to extend a special thanks to ESAC for setting me up with an internship in Prague, virtually! Since my internship in Prague got cancelled, ESAC arranged an online internship for me and the result has been much better than I could have imagined.
Using zoom, we meet daily for briefings then reconnect the next day to go through results. There are about 12 different nationalities working so it has been a real international experience from my home office (my bedroom). I was a bit unsure if this would actually work but it’s been fantastic and I am grateful for the opportunity and it will certainly look good on my resume.read moreBottom Line:Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
- Internship Abroad05/29/20
This last semester, I was studying abroad in Prague, Czech Republic. Unfortunately, my time was cut short due to CO-VID 19. I had the time of my life for the five weeks I was in Prague. Traveling was easy because of the central location of the Czech Republic.
ESAC helped with my study abroad housing accommodations. I was in a spacious apartment with other students in my program. The apartment had a great location, not too busy, right above a grocery store, and very safe. Although my program was cut short, ESAC helped me continue my journey in Prague(at least virtually!). They offered free virtual placement for students who lost opportunities(like me). Thanks to ESAC I have the opportunity to be a part of a virtual internship with EasyBnB in Prague this summer. I am just starting out with the internship. It has been a great experience so far. The staff is friendly and always checking in to make sure that the tasks are manageable. They have made it easy to accommodate to my summer classes. I am so thankful that ESAC gave me this opportunity. While international travel is at a standstill they have still made it possible to have get international experience. Not only is it a great opportunity but, the ESAC team made it super simple to find an internship. I would definitely recommend using ESAC to find your internship abroad this summer!read moreBottom Line:Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
- A Wonderful Opportunity05/28/20
ESAC provided me with an engaging and informative virtual internship when other opportunities were lost due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. As someone who hopes to run my own business someday, the knowledge I am picking up in marketing and finance with V6
Ventures will be invaluable. Dr. Z has been a tremendous resource and she genuinely cares about you and your experience. I can't thank the people of ESAC enough for their commitment to me and the other students/interns during such a difficult time.read moreBottom Line:Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
- ESAC internship placement Review08/24/18
I had a great time this summer (2018) with ESAC! I am currently a law student and had previously studied abroad with ESAC as an undergraduate student. Because I enjoyed my experience so much, I knew I had to contact ESAC again so that I can experience
interning in Prague. They matched me up with the biggest international law firm in the world, Dentons. While I was there, I had a great time and interacted with the attorneys and staff members. I learned so much and thoroughly enjoyed going back to Prague once more. I also got to participate in all the activities the other students did, like attend group outings and dinners. Dr. Zamastil also helped me get the credits I need for my experience abroad by coordinating with my Dean at my law school and also helping me meet all my requirements. She was so easy to reach and super helpful with all needs. I never felt like I was alone while there or like I didn't have anyone to help make my experience more swift. I highly recommend this program to anyone! It truly help to immerse yourself in another culture while living like a local. Prague is the perfect place to get a taste of Europe. It is right in the center (as it is called the heart of Europe), and it's super easy to make your way through the city and meet new people. ESAC, thank you for giving me this experience that I will never forget!read moreBottom Line:Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

- ESAC Summer 2017 Internship at KPMG10/18/17
I studied abroad in Prague with ESAC during the summer of 2017 and to say it was an experience of a lifetime is an understatement. The people I met, the number of cities I explored, and the culture I embraced for four weeks all contributed to it being
an amazing trip. ESAC gave me the opportunity to intern with KPMG, a big 4 accounting firm, for four weeks and the experience I gained was invaluable (I was in the KPMG Management Consulting service line). My KPMG supervisor was fantastic. On the first day, he introduced himself to my fellow ESAC intern and me, and began to tell us a brief overview of what our first project entailed. We were tasked with analyzing ways to finance a public infrastructure project in an Eastern European city. My supervisor treated us as if we were a full time employee at KPMG with the utmost respect and always made himself available to give assistance and feedback. After completing the first deliverable, the managing partner sent it off to the clients, so being able to say that you contributed to a project is quite impressive and is something I was able to talk about in interviews. The ESAC team was also fantastic. On the first day, they gave us a walking tour of Prague and highlighted all the main touristy attractions as well as pointed out attractions off the beaten track. They made themselves available to all the students and ensured that each issue was resolved promptly. Additionally, I encourage everyone to participate in the weekend trip to Vienna, Austria; that was definitely the highlight of my trip because the Vienna Film Festival was going on – great food, drinks, and films! All in all, if you’re looking to gain live abroad while also gaining professional experience in a foreign country, I highly recommend studying abroad in Prague with ESAC. American employers love seeing foreign experience and it was something I could easily talk about in interviews. Although I was placed at KPMG, there were also placements at other Big 4 accounting firms, hotels, and local consulting companies, and everyone I talked to was equally impressed and pleased they did it. The professional experience coupled with being immersed in a foreign culture definitely grew me as an individual. Thanks ESAC for a great summer!read moreBottom Line:Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
- Most valuable experience in my academic career09/25/15
I studied in Prague with ESAC back in 2005 as a master’s student in business and found the program to be the highlight of my academic career. Most of the students were undergrad students but we all fit right in. To start with the Directors on the program
are genuinely personable and their top concern was for the visiting students. Living in a new country will inevitably bring some difficulties but they were always there for us and everything was handled perfectly. Studying in the ESAC program earned credits from one of the top universities in Europe and the classes were interesting and the Professors were industry experienced and knowledgeable and they made classes a great experience. Classes were challenging and there was a balance between academics and cultural immersion. I found the value to be much better than any of the other programs I was considering at the time, especially after seeing all the extras that I received. The housing provided put us right in the middle of Prague so it was easy to move around since trams and metros are so easy to use in most of Europe. This is exactly what I was looking for in a study abroad program. The program had local student advisors that were always involved socially and had expert knowledge of Prague, which made things really comfortable for us because we could always go to them anytime of day. What was really important to me was that there were a lot of company visits, guest lectures and constant activities to choose from as well as group trips to amazing European cities. There were ample opportunities to travel on my own as well, which is important when spending a summer in Europe because the experience is just as important as the academics. I can honestly say that I built relationships that will last a lifetime. In fact the references the Directors gave me have been instrumental in my career since then. I was even able to secure a position working in Asia because of my connections I made over the summer at ESAC. If a student is going to choose to study in Europe for the summer I give ESAC a 5 star rating of excellence. Thank you ESAC.read moreBottom Line:Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
- Outstanding internship at Lobkowitz Castle08/16/15
ESAC was unbelievably supportive in helping me with my internship and course selection. My internship for the Lobkowicz Collections was a fantastic learning experience. This internship would be great for any future art history/ history/museum studies/
or historic preservation majors doing a study abroad program. All the people I worked with were very nice and tried their best to help me learn things about the museums I worked in. During my time working for the Lobkowicz Collections, I split time between the Nelahozeves Castle and Lobkowicz Palace taking part in an important documentation process that aided the collection. My main duty was to photograph the graphics depository at Nelahozeves and then to digitally name and file these photos the next day at Lobkowicz Palace. This was used internally by the directors of the collections to see instantly what certain objects were as they were no prior photos. Veronika Wolf, my supervisor, was easy to work with and to work for. All in all this internship could not have suited my interests better as an art history and history major this will look good on my resume and provide me with valuable career experience. Thanks ESAC!read moreBottom Line:Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
- Internship in Prague with ESAC10/14/14
The month I spent in Prague during July 2014 was single-handedly the most exciting experience of my entire life! The city itself is amazing and has so much to offer in the way of food, culture, history, and nightlife, and I couldn't have asked for a better
program to experience all of it with. ESAC is a very organized program with staff members who are all friendly, knowledgeable, and incredibly helpful. The program offered a perfect balance of coordinated events and free time to go venture out on our own. There were wine tastings, tours of the city, group dinners and awesome restaurants, and two weekends of travel, including Vienna (optional) and the secret village which are both an absolute must. There were also plenty of optional events that were coordinated among the student advisors.I opted to work as a marketing intern (as opposed to studying) at Holmes Place Health and Fitness Center. ESAC placed me with the company and helped get everything set up with the site director. Considering I only did it for the 4 weeks of the program, I feel like I really got a lot out of it. The internship was very flexible and stress-free, but also very goal oriented which was great because I felt like I was actually contributing something to the company, not just doing grunt work. Overall, ESAC offers an incredible experience for a great value. Students are provided with meals, housing, a full month pass for transportation, a trip to the secret village, and are always kept up to date on everything that's going on. Even after completing the program students are invited to join a Facebook group with more than 400 ESAC alumni that is regularly updated with job postings, travel information, and study abroad articles. The time I spent abroad - all of the friends I made, fun I had, and travelling I was able to do - was truly invaluable. Everyone should be able to have this experience at least once and ESAC is the perfect study abroad organization to help you do that!read moreBottom Line:Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
