- ESAC Prague!!05/21/20
This was my first time studying abroad and my first time in Prague. I could not have imagined a better experience. The classes were fun and we received hands on experience visiting with leadership from international companies. The city was amazing and
we met lifelong friends that we still keep in touch with today. I wish I could do this every summer. I highly recommend this program. The ESAC team made this such a memorable experience.

This program was amazing! I attended in Summer of 2014, and it was literally my first time out of the United States. The program was great if you can't leave for a really long time, it was just enough time that I was still able to experience the culture
in Prague and do plenty of sight seeing while in classes. I have to say that if you have never been out of your normal country, to get out and experience a different culture than you know was just absolutely eye opening. You really learn how there is so much out in the world to see, so much to learn and experience. One thing I learned about, is in US we are very spoiled, and when I went to Prague to learn that they don't serve drinks with ice, or serve drinks very cold I had to learn to deal with that. The public transportation in Prague blew my mind, because you can literally go anywhere pretty inexpensively. This study abroad program was also great because you learn just enough basic Czech language and some do's and don'ts of Czech culture, which was totally helpful. There are times that you get to go on your own and explore and there are other times where you are with the group, and doing both was very appreciated. There is so much to do and see in Prague, and you definitely have to get out and visit Charles Bridge, which we did as a group, and Old Town Square where you can go shopping if you choose to. Plenty of place to eat, including Chinese, Mexican, Italian, and of course Czech grub! I highly recommend this program, it will forever be in my heart and my memories! Truly worth the investment!

This was a very good program. It was well-organized and the staff were helpful and friendly. It was a good balance of classes and cultural events and we had enough free time to travel on our own. I would recommend this program to anyone who wants to explore
the Czech Republic at a fair price (and get 8 credits). It was a good deal

- ESAC study abroad08/07/17
Words cannot describe how wonderful my study abroad experience was with ESAC. First off, I'm greatful that you can choose between a class and an internship, two classes, or a full time internship. Personally I took one class and one internship and I've
learned so much from this experience. I've gotten a letter of recommendation from my internship and got to network with many different people in Prague. It's nice to take one of each because you get to learn so much about the business side and classroom side of Prague. Also, this program offers so many different internships and it's amazing where it will take you. There are so many networking opportunities and professors/advisors who are there to help you succeed. I'm not joking when I say that they are there for you. LOCATION: The dorms are right off of the Strazni tram stop. Tram #9 will take you literally almost everywhere so the location of the dorms are actually pretty nice. The area of the dorms are extremely safe and quiet. Also, there are several convenient stores and MANY pubs, restaurants, and bars nearby that you can walk to. Everything in the area is walking distance which made it extremely convenient. Tips: Take advantage of the weekend trips that the ESAC program offers. Czech Republic has so much to offer outside of Prague. You won't regret it. -Take advantage of the tram/bus pass. You have unlimited amount of times to ride the transit system for the month that you are there and your tuition covers it! -Travel on the weekends and explore Europe! (Plan ahead of time, it will be cheaper) -Go on the Vienna trip with ESAC -Get close with your professors and site directors! (NETWORK) -Travel before or after the program in Europe. You will regret it if you don't. - Get the best yet cheapest beer! If you decide to study abroad I encourage you to travel with ESAC because they are well organized, professional, and there for you to succeed. The program is only a month long which is prefect because you can knock out some credits for the summer instead of missing an entire semester at your university studying abroad.

I am thrilled that my first study abroad was through ESAC. The program helped and encouraged me to immerse myself in the Prague and Czech culture. By the end of the month I was able to converse with locals easily, something I was incredibly proud of.
My academic experience was different than most because I completed an independent study with a teacher ESAC set me up with. Although I was not taking classes with the majority of my fellow students I never felt like I did not have support or friends from my fellow students as well as the teachers and administrators. I was extremely happy with my teacher and my classes. I also particularly liked the location of our dorms. While it was sometimes difficult to get take out food at the dorms, the tram stop was a mere block from the dorms- which became very important. Additionally, the suite style rooms were pleasantly surprising because I only had to share the two bathrooms in my suite with 6 people rather than the floor. The dorms were up to date and clean and provided security through a front desk worker and a scan code system. I enjoyed having the dorms out of the main part of the city because it was quite when we returned home at the end of the day. I would recommend, to anyone going to Prague with ESAC, to take advantage of the activities ESAC offers. Such as Jama, and Boat Cruise, as well as the weekend trips to Kunta Hora, Vienna, and Cesky Krumlov. These activities and trips expanded my knowledge and love for Prague and the Czech Republic. Overall I am extremely happy that I got the opportunity to study abroad in an amazing city like Prague with an amazing program like ESAC that seemed to make it easy to culturally immerse and study in a foreign place for the first time.

Overall, my study abroad experience this Summer was amazing. From the beginning, ESAC provided detailed information that helped me get organized and prepared for going abroad. When I arrived in Prague, the group of people I was surrounded by, including
the program directors, advisors, professors, and other students made me feel comfortable and safe. I traveled before the program with one other girl for 9 days. We traveled through The Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, and Hungary. Arriving in Prague was really refreshing and I have to say it was my favorite city. I would encourage anyone in ESAC in future years to take advantage of the other trips they offer to go on as a group such as Krumlov and the Karlienstein Castle. Seeing other parts of the Czech Republic was definitely worth it. Just a few points of advise I have: - Pack only what you really need and cannot get at a store once your abroad (ex: prescribed medicine) - Use your free tram pass that is provided to you (Once you figure it out, it is so much more cost effective than Ubering everywhere) - Eat outside of your comfort zone (Try new foods, don't just stick to the pizza and pasta you're used to) - Be flexible (If you get lost, don't freak out. Roll with the punches) - Be realistic (You won't get EVERYTHING done on your list for the day. It's OK! Go home, get some sleep, regroup in he morning) - It's OK to branch off from the group. (Take a friend with you, but go explore without the other 30 students!) - Take school seriously. (You get what you give! Remember the reason for this opportunity - the "studying" part. - Go to the ESAC sponsored events (Dinner at Jama, wine tasting, tours, etc) Prague is BEAUTIFUL, safe, and this program made studying abroad affordable. It was the perfect amount of time to be away. I was skeptical at first about studying abroad, but it was honestly one of the best decisions I've ever made!

ESAC was an amazing experience for me - in fact it opened up my future to living in Europe / working in business. The studies were fun, the people memorable (many of whom I am still in touch with 10+yrs later) and the experience of studying in Europe
and learning business lead me to wanting more! From here I pursued a master degree in Paris and moved to London to work in consulting and finance. Recommended to all!

The summer of 2010 was my best and most exciting summer to date! If you are considering a summer study abroad program, I recommend choosing ESAC. As a participant of three different study abroad programs, I can absolutely testify that this was the
best experience I had. Kristine and David are extremely committed to coordinating a program that allows students to receive college credit while immersing themselves in one of the most beautiful cities and rich cultures the world has to offer. Everyone should go to Prague at least once in their young adult, and here are some of the reasons ESAC is the best option: -involved coordinators, who can help with issues that might arise while in a foreign country -classes that transfer for credit toward your degree -included cultural activities and trips -basic language lessons -free time to explore the city, or a weekend to travel somewhere (Prague is centrally located to other amazing cities, like Vienna and Budapest) -a month long experience that is worth every penny!

- An Amazing Experience!08/31/15
Studying abroad with ESAC was one of the best decisions I have ever made! The program costs are reasonable with scheduled classes during the day, site visits with major international organizations such as Ernst & Young, Deloitte and IKEA. Kristine Zamastil
& David Vonda are the perfect hosts and the team of instructors and facilitators provide challenging course material, but also great team building activities and excursions out of Prague to neighboring Berlin and other historical sites like the Karlštejn Castle and lots of free time to explore Prague on your own. Aside from the challenging course work, the informative site visits and the great experience you will have in Europe, you will meet students from all over the world who will become your friends. On a personal note, my experience has lead me back to Europe several times and now I currently reside in the Netherlands furthering my international experience. Register now for the 2016 ESAC summer program in Prague and have an AMAZING study abroad experience in a great city with great people! David Rosado, class of 2007.

I have traveled abroad for work in the past, but this was my first experience for school, and it will not be the last. If you are thinking of studying abroad for a summer, a semester or for a whole year but you are not sure of what to expect or if you
will be able to handle being far from home for an extended time, this is the program for you. The staff, instructors and advisers at ESAC are all there to ensure that you have a safe, memorable and enlightening experience. The majority or the Advising staff are Czech Nationals and are happy to share their country and culture with you. Many classes are offered making it easy for your Institution to find a corresponding class to transfer the credits in for. As a business student, I enrolled in Global Leadership and International Business. I have held leadership positions in the past, but I was still able to take valuable information away from Professor Durham’s Global Leadership class. In addition so the Business Curriculum, there were also classes offered in the area of Hospitality and Sports Management. Additionally, there are classes that are proctored by some of the advisers that cover Czech history and language. Many Czechs do speak English, but you will have a richer experience if you try to speak Czech and get to know some local residents. The course requirements leave plenty of time to experience Prague and all it has to offer. Additionally, there are some side trips offered. This year was Vienna, Austria and approximately half of the student body made the trip. While in Vienna, we took a bicycle tour of the city during the day and visited the Film Festival at night. I hear that next year the destination will be Berlin, Germany. You can also make your own plans with all of the new friends you will make. There were over ten universities and colleges in attendance from North, South, East and West. A big Thank You to all of the instructors, advisers and supports staff at ESAC for one of the best summers of my life. Stan

As an nontraditional college student, working and going to school full-time, I thought I’d seen everything pertaining to the “college experience”. I could NOT have been further from the truth. This experience has truly shown me what I am not only
capable in the classroom, but outside of it as well. Being placed in a completely foreign environment forces you to not only step out of your comfort zone, but to nurture and challenge what you thought were your limits. Being able to be a part of the ESAC program has completely changed me as a student, be that in a classroom or in a completely different culture. Once I cross that stage, ill-fitting gown and all, I can look back and know that ESAC was a major part of MY college experience.

This program is an incredible intercultural and educational opportunity. The professors were fair with the assignment workload to allow us plenty of time to explore Prague and other European countries without compromising the educational value of the
courses.

- Once in a lifetime opportunity09/19/11
When you decide to take a risk, you will only grow into a better version of yourself. Joining ESAC for the 2011 Prague trip was the greatest and most beneficial experience of my life. From the site visits and historical education to the networking opportunities.
The relationships that I built were priceless! A once in a lifetime opportunity will provide me with the contacts and experience needed to succeed! Thank you so much ESAC for changing my life forever!

ESAC is an incredible program that really strives to bring a worldly experience to students! I loved the fact that we were able to spend a balanced time in class and as well as have free time for ourselves. This was my first study abroad experience, and
I definitely learned to be independent and get a real outlook on how life is in Europe. I had such a blast on our excursion to Berlin as well because we were able to see two complete different worlds but yet see how everyone is so connected. I am a marketing major, and this program really taught me things I would probably never learn inside a classroom in the U.S. It’s all about the experience and Prague is the absolute best city to do it in!

the people that made our trip so interesting and exciting. That was my best summer ever! I made new friends, I keep in touch with Michael (the short one:)) and we are planning to visit each other next year.
