Program Description:

CMCP is a program for creative musicians, singer-songwriters and performers interested in pursuing their artistic growth through the exploration of new musical, artistic and scenic presentation processes. Complementary business, professional and enterprise studies will support the development of the available and emerging commercial avenues for artistic creations. ?Although Spanish is the primary delivery language the program is accessible to non-Spanish speakers through a number of language support provisions.

The program acknowledges the central role of creativity and the multidisciplinary profile of current creative artists supporting development and learning in a number of key areas including: Applied technology (Music and Stage Production as well as Information & Communication Technology), Creation (Songwriting and Composition), Performance and Scenic Concept, Enterprise capacity building, Self Management skills and Entrepreneurship, The International Music Industry, and the Global Economic, Technological and Socio-cultural context.

The CMCP program is a degree itinerary course and is UK university accredited. Learning takes place through a highly practical approach that balances creation, performance, and enterprise as well as personal and professional development along with the associated academic rigor. The setting is multidisciplinary and international. Teaching staff are experienced practitioners and educators.
